Frontend building process importance

The building process in frontend has become quite the tackle. There are quite a few tools out there that help create amazing software and with many choices comes great responsibility. Behind the scene, this choosing process is very important, if not critical, to project success. The objective for each build process is of course to improve the frontend dev experience and to create that lean, innovative, and hopefully profitable piece of software (all this while having an eye on time and cost efficiency). So, choosing the right set of tools can be a game-changer for the development project. Here at Semicolon, we pride ourselves on having a team capable of providing excellent advice and capabilities in the frontend building process.

Webpack is a great tool that offers the freedom to perform complex tasks with its vast configurable options and plugins.

Circle CI is a toolkit that automates and enhances the workflow and that helps compose efficient build pipelines.

Jenkins is an ecosystem that allows us to automate just about nothing, reducing the effort to a minimum.

Yarn technology allows us to manage the multitude of information found in web applications: frameworks, assets, libraries, and utilities.

Browserify is a very simple but yet very powerful tool that helps us create lean software.

Parcel is another great bundler tool that helps set a great development process, reducing time and effort.
